New roads that we have never been on before for us today. Some nice scenery, bet it would be beautiful in the spring. Flat cow country with miles and miles of treeless plains and very few people most of the way. We stopped at a rest area for lunch and saw some interesting rock formations with a backdrop of about 100 wind turbine generators in the distance. We began listening to a recorded book and got through the second disk before arriving at our campsite. The campground owner is big into horses and we met her riding her pony around the campground. They got loads of snow here last week but it is all melted and has left a bit of mud in places. Her pony was covered in mud, most horses love that.

We have moved into the Denver area and setup the trailer for the next couple of months. We are in the site right next to our friends Dave and Jim and they will keep an eye on the trailer while we are back home. I guess we were excited but it took us four tries before we got the trailer level, a record for us. Normally we get it on the first try. In the late afternoon we walked in the park adjacent to the campground with Jim and their dog Andy We went out to dinner with Dave to Village Inn. They have decent food but not great.
