Cable pinouts for old video cameras

Function polarity Pin# Color **click for enlargement
12v DC + 10 Red

12v DC - 9 Orange
Video Center 1 Gray center
Video Shield 2 Gray shield
Audio Left 7 White center
Audio Shield 8 Shield
Audio Right 5 Brown center
Pause 6 White

Pinout notes:

** The color code used here is from the cable belonging to my RCA 020 and may be different on your camera. Make sure you cross reference your colors with the above pin numbers.

Pins 3, 4 & 6 are used for pause control, and other return signals to the camera. Sorry, I don't know which ones do what. My VCR that I used the cameras with no longer works so I can't experiment with those functions.
