Purchased Mar 31, 2007, $59.99

Check the about my lighting page to understand the tests.

Purchased on sale as my Comp USA store was going out of business. Original price seems to have been around $75.00 and it looks like a few are still available from some Internet stores as of this posting.

his camera performed the best of this group of Phillips cameras. It has very good pictures in my monitor only tests. I also found that it was popular with amature Astrophotographers who take these cameras and modify them to fit their telescopes.

Gave a good image with back lighting turned off but a bit blueish with back lights on. This was the only Phillips camera I tested that did not have a problem auto adjusting as the sun came up. The others washed out to white screens, this one brought the sunlight under control by itself.

This is one of the last cameras made that included a standard brass tripod mount on the bottom hidden under the stand. Sorry, I didn't get a large format capture of this camera.
