Common issues for Microsoft cameras

All the Microsoft cameras require Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later. Not a real problem for most, but you should be aware of this before purchasing one of these cameras.

It is impossible to find updated drivers, except through the diver update process. At the time of this posting, due to the way Microsoft has their website designed, none of the Internet search engines can find the driver update page for these cameras. Not even Microsoft's internal search can find the driver download page.

I was able to bookmark the driver page by forcing a reinstall of the software and watching carefully as it checked for updates. Currently this is the address for obtaining these drivers, over 100 megs.
