This is one of the best consumer cameras, and was at the top of the chart for several years. This is one of the reccommended camera for all features except portability. While this camera is easy to move around, some of the notebook cameras have better portability. I have been very impressed with this camera. While its image quality doesn't come up to that of the Intel Pro, it never the less is quite good. Its low light sensitivity is extremely good. I was getting recognizable pictures with nothing but bright full moonlight with snow on the ground. I had this camera installed at the Country Waye Campground in Luray Virginia for the about a year. Due to my poorly designed case holding the camera, water accumulated in the case and camera from condensation. Even though the camera still works, the image quality has dropped substantially. The image became fuzzy, as if the lens was dirty or not focused. A thorough disassembly and cleaning didn't help. In other words, don't use any of these cameras outside or where they might be subjected to heavy moisture. |
