William (Bill) Albright Harrell Born Aug. 22, 1930 Rocky Mount N.C. He joined the Navy after high school and sailed in the Pacific during the early 1950s. He viewed the explosion of the H-bomb in the pacific from 300 miles away. Went to college while raising a family and joined Dupont as an engineer. Travelled with the company to places including Ohio and West Germany until he settled near Nashville Tenn. Except for a short period of living in Seaford Del. in the late 1980s, he remained in the general area of Hendersonville, Tenn. Seen here with wife Carolyn in Seaford, about 1989 |
