My Latest Maine Vacation |

 | This is my friend Scott's home in Maine. I try to visit them often because not only do I enjoy their company (Scott, Sally and Daniel), but their scenery is one of the best in the country. |
 | Here is a typical nearby frozen lake with ice fishing in progress. |
 | And the typical ice house to keep warm while fishing. Some ice houses have holes in the ice floor and the fishermen stay inside, nice and warm, while fishing and er...ah, drink beer. |
 | This is the Jordan Pond House in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island near Bar Harbor, Maine. They serve great meals here, plus there is an afternoon tea and pasteries on the lawn, if you so choose. |

 | Here at the Jordan Pond House is one of the places my friend Scott works. He builds and maitains traditional English Gardens. Here are some of his flower pots near a snow drift. |
